Configuration Management System (CMS) Administrator

Sentar is seeking a REMOTE Configuration Management System (CMS) Administrator!

Role Description:

The CMS Administrator will be part of the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) team supporting various activities across the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). The NCRC supports the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) mission to provide realistic cybersecurity environments for Test and Evaluation (T&E) of major Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs and to enable the conduct of realistic training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force (CMF).
The CMS Administrator collects and assesses the NCRC CMS needs and requirements and develops suitable CI artifacts for the NCRC Technical Architecture, its baselines, and technical “documentation artifacts”. The “documentation artifacts” include text files, spreadsheets, workbooks (a collection of spreadsheets), slide packages, and diagram packages.

The CMS Administrator is responsible for maintenance and cataloging of Engineering, Operations, and Program artifacts collections within established or emerging NCRC Confluence repositories. This includes the collection / receipt of artifacts to be posted, identifying their appropriate locations within the NCRC Confluence pages, depositing them in the appropriate repository, and updating linkages to these artifacts. The CMS Administrator is also responsible for suggesting and/or building of NEW/emerging Confluence pages and repository collections for the various NCRC audience’s use.

Job Duties:
The CMS Administrator analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting.
Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-7 years of experience with Configuration Management
  • ITIL Certification (v4 preferred)
  • Experience with Confluence and/or other Atlassian tools
