Part Time HR Generalist I

Location: Huntsville, AL

Sentar is seeking a Part Time HR Generalist I in Huntsville, AL!

Role Description:

  • Onboarding:
    • Assist with onboarding coordination to include background investigations, launching onboarding packet, coordinating new hire access, preparing welcome documentation, and any needed data entry.
  • Employee Records Management:
    • Maintain and update electronic personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Establish and maintain employee profiles in vendor systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • LMS Monitoring:
    • Monitor the completion of compliance courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) and follow up with employees as needed.
  • Capture and organize resumes, certifications, and other required documentation for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist with the performance assessment process, including tracking and ensuring timely completion of evaluations.
  • Support the clean-up and organization of 360-degree feedback data to improve the effectiveness of performance reviews.
  • General HR Support:
    • Provide support for various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
    • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions.

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: N/A

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Work Schedule - In office Tues, Wed, and Thurs.
