CSSP Customer Engagement Professional Manager

Location: Adelphi, MD

Sentar is seeking a CSSP Customer Engagement Professional Manager in Adelphi, MD or San Antonio, TX!

Role Description:

Develop and provide strategic direction for the Customer Engagement Team, ensuring effective planning and completion of team-level tasks and projects. Lead and guide CSSP Customer Engagement Professionals in responding to cybersecurity service inquiries, and provide ongoing support to subscribers after service alignment. Stay informed of evolving DoD requirements impacting the subscriber base and ensure timely adjustments and compliance with these changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide strategic direction for the Customer Engagement Team to ensure effective planning and completion of team-level tasks and projects
  • Stay informed of evolving DoD requirements impacting the subscriber base and provide guidance to ensure timely adjustments and compliance
  • Regularly update and maintain annual documentation, agreements, and templates to ensure compliance and alignment with subscriber needs
  • Lead and guide the CSSP Customer Engagement Professional in promptly responding to new inquiries for cybersecurity services
  • Ensure timely receipt of service inquiries and collaborate with customer contacts to create database records
  • Oversee the generation of formal support agreements and service quotes for prospective customers
  • Guide and monitor the initiation of operational services and track progress through automated alignment tools
  • Attend leadership and subscriber briefings, generating reports on subscriber alignment and status updates
  • Manage data for existing customers and facilitate their annual service renewal process
  • Leverage the branch-developed CSSP Customer Engagement Portal (CCEP) to track subscriber alignment workflow

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: Secret

Education: Bachelors Degree required (related field preferred)

Preferred Education - Master's in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Computer Science with cybersecurity focus

Certifications - ITIL, CSM

Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management
  • Comprehensive understanding of CSSP service offerings
  • Strong team leadership and management abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent communication
  • Knowledge of DoD requirements impacting subscriber base
  • Ability to manage documentation, agreements, and templates
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, particularly the CSSP Customer Engagement Portal (CCEP)
  • Experience with data management and process improvement
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams to obtain engineering and hardware recommendations

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in customer engagement or service delivery
  • Experience leading customer-facing teams
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity service environments
  • Experience with service alignment processes
  • Experience creating and maintaining formal agreements between service providers and customers
  • Experience generating and delivering service quotes
  • Experience coordinating with budget offices and tracking receipt of funds

Preferred Experience:

  • 8+ years in customer engagement for technical services
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity services
  • Background in service level agreement management
  • Experience with subscriber/customer database management
  • Experience with DoD financial management and invoicing processes
  • Experience reviewing program-related DoD orders and directives and identifying potential impacts
  • Experience participating in DoD and industry security conferences and working groups

Ideal candidate would be coming from:

  • Existing CSSP programs
  • DoD cybersecurity service organizations
  • Defense contractor customer engagement roles
  • Military cyber units with customer/stakeholder management experience
  • IT service management organizations supporting government clients
  • Federal agency customer support or service management operations
